Introduction - Start Of My Aztec Journey

 Lucy Juicy Aztec Adventure,

I've been give a lifetime opportunity to time travel back in time to Tenochtitlan, 1461! Just unpacked and found a mouse, not sure what to do with it but I am thinking of keeping it, so I can trade it with the Aztecs?! I'm hoping the Aztec food is healthy, because back home all I eat is junk and I need something good in my system.

First Blog - Aztec food

Aztec Food. Wow, what a sight! The food was delicious, one thing that caught my eye was the walk down to the markets, because I got to watch the traders on their boats. I decided to go to the markets because it was something that was at the top of my list for a long time. As I arrived I immediately saw what I wanted to get. I went for the beans and tomato, a popular pick. I noticed that the word avocado (ahuacatl )  and tomato (xitomatl )  in Aztec language was spelled similar to English. The food was exceptionally good but it was particularly spicy! I payed 20 cacao seeds. I sat down next to a beautiful apple tree, and met a young girl who asked for my food, I was full anyway, so I happily gave her the rest. She clearly was in need, I could tell by her clothes since she didn't have a lot on. I heard that the more clothes you have on the higher class you are. Blog Three - The calendar

The Aztec Mayan calendar I woke up on a bright summer morning, I needed a rest from yesterday. I had a great walk down to the Aztec village were I saw a sacrifice! A little bit more bearable this time! I noticed a shining stone in the distance, I had read all about this, its a Mayan calendar! They used this stone to tell the time, its formed on a 260 day cycle instead of 365.  This is a recorded conversation I had with a villager; Me: Hey I was wondering how the calendar worked? Commoner: Well, it's broken up into units and has twenty days on a stone, each day has a symbol. Me: Well then, how can you tell what day it is? Commoner: To tell the day, you put the number with the symbol, there is a small circle in the stone which has numbers and you match the symbol up with the number to get you day.
